Nice list!  I met Tommy Lasorda, too.  It was in 1987 at a lunch in St Louis arranged by my best friend from high school with Todd Worrell, then-closer for the Cards.  He was trying to get Todd to come to the local high school as a motivational speaker and he invited me along.  I sat with my mouth wide open the whole lunch.  At the table next to us was Tommy.  When he finished he stopped by and put his hand on my shoulder!  Later, when we went to the stadium for a tour, we saw Tommy running his lunch off in the outfield!  It was before his "slim fast" days!  I'll never foget that day.  Thanks for making me remember it!

And thanks for stopping by.  Hope you visit again.  I know I'll e back here!  Have a great weekend!
