Running Log

In an attempt to make myself be more consistant in my running, I am going to start posting my running log here. 
Hopefully the thought that someone out there will know if I skip a day, will manage to get me out of bed on those days that I just want to sleep.
 
Weekly total: 30 miles
 
Sat 4/8/06 - 9 miles, hills, sand dunes, trails - awesome
 
Fri 4/7/06 - 35 minutes on the dreadmill
 
Thurs 4/6/06 - Baby slept though the night (yeah), Mom forgot to set alarm (boo) - What is up with Thursdays lately?
 
Wed 4/5/06 - 40 minutes on grass.  10 min. easy, 15 minutes of 50 sec. hard/ 70 sec. easy, 15 min. easy
 
Tues 4/4/06 - 35 min on treadmill
 
Mon 4/3/06 - 45 min on trails
 
Sun 4/2/06 - No running

 
Weekly Total: 26.5 miles (getting over 30 is going to be harder than I thought, it must have been the extra day off on thursday.  Can I count the hike as a 4 mile run?  How about chasing after Dash learning to ride his bike?).
 
Sat 4/1/06 - Needed an easy day.  Shins are starting to hurt.  4 miles easy on treadmill & weights
 
Fri 3/31/06 - 7 miles from home.  Felt better the longer I ran.
 
Thurs 3/30/06 - Hike with family instead
 
Wed 3/29/06 - 5.5 on trails. One major hill on sand dunes.
 
Tues 3/28/06 - 4 miles very easy on treadmill
 
Mon 3/27/06 - 6 miles of trails.  Yeah. 
 
Sun 3/26/06 - Day of rest
 

 
Weekly total: 24 Blah...
 
Sat 3/25/06 - Had planned a long run. But, it was snowing hard at my planned run time, so I ran 5 miles on the treadmill (my mental limit) and did weights.
 
Fri 3/24/06 - 35 min. up and down some tough hills.  OUCH
 
Thurs 3/23/06 - Took a day off work for BJJ's check-up.  ran on the treadmill for 40 min during his nap.
 
Wed 3/22/06 - AM: weights/ PM: 45 min. on trails.  Knee is actually ok while I am running.  the 3 doses of advil today probably helped too.
 
Tues 3/21/06 - supposed to run after work...didn't happen.  Left knee is very stiff.  this is supposed to be my good knee, as opposed to the rt. that I had surgery on already.
 
Mon 3/20/06 - AM: Treadmill 4
 
Sun 3/19/06 - Got mad, needed to get away.  Put on the ipod and lifted as hard as I could.  May not be able to move tomorrow.
 

 
Weekly Total: 30 miles
 
Sat 3/18/06 - It's cold again!  I was wimpy and stayed inside for a 5.5 miler on the treadmill - this might be the longest I can run on the treadmill w/out going insane.
 
Fri 3/17/06 - PM: 40 min on roads
 
Thurs 3/16/06 - AM: Treadmill 35 min.
 
Wed 3/15/06 - AM: Weights/ PM: 40 minutes on trails
 
Tues 3/14/06 - AM: treadmill again 35 min easy
 
Mon 3/13/06 - The treadmill is coming, the treadmill is coming! waited until 7:30  pm to try out the new treadmill.  ran 4 miles (got them done just in time to watch 24).
 
Sun 3/12/06 - Nope
 

 
Weekly Total: 26.5 miles
 
Sat 3/11/06 - AM: 50 min at a decent clip.  Bad sinus headache that the wind made worse.  Should have worn sunglasses.
 
Fri 3/10/06 - AM: 40 min easy/weights
 
Thurs 3/9/06 - No - the wind last night was ripping the siding off of the house and after only 2 hrs of sleep, I skipped the run.
 
Wed 3/8/06 - PM: 46 min with 5 goods hills
 
Tues 3/7/06 - AM: weights  - PM: 40 min on trails
 
Mon 3/6/06 - AM: 35 min easy
 
Sun 3/5/06 - Nada

Weekly Total: 21 1/2 miles
 
Sat 3/4/06 - One of those days when I had planned on running and then life and family came first
 
Fri 3/3/06 - AM: easy 40 minutes
 
Thurs 3/2/06 - Shoot! Turned off my watch alarm yesterday morning because I was putting the baby back to sleep and forgot to turn it back on again.  No time in the PM.  A big fat nothing.
 
Wed 3/1/06 - AM: Weights   PM: 40 minutes trails and grass plus 3 minute pit stop!
 
Tues 2/28/06 - AM - easy 30 min.  Ouch!  Sore muscles.
 
Mon 2/27/06 - AM: Weights  PM: 40 min on trails.  15 minutes warm up, 20 min (4 min hard/4 easy, 3 min hard/3 easy, 2 min hard/2 easy, 1 min hard/1 easy), 5 Min cool down
 
Sun 2/26/06 - Off day. Sundays will almost always be off days.  Might possibly do some weights if husband gets the weight bench put together in the basement.
 
Sat 2/25/06 - 6.5 miles on the trails (50:50). 33 degrees w/ 20 mph winds, but the trees kept the wind from being too bad.  Felt decent.

You are fast on the trails, dear!  They always slow me down.  6.5 would have taken me probably 70 minutes.  Pat yourself on the back for going out in the freezing weather...

My God.  I don't know how you do it.  I'm just not built for running.  6.5 miles?  Only on a hike or a long beach walk.
